Dr. Matt Herber is a dedicated veterinarian who graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. He is passionate about internal medicine, case workups, and fostering the human-animal bond. He stays at the forefront of veterinary care by researching and utilizing the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies. Dr. Matt also has a strong interest in hospice and pain management, as well as quality wellness care for pets. In addition to companion animals, he provides wellness care for small ruminants and pigs, supporting hobby farmers in maintaining the health of their animals.
Outside of his veterinary practice, Dr. Matt and his wife, Abbey – who is also a veterinarian – enjoy raising their son, Jack, alongside their two dogs, Maisie and Bailee, and three cats. They are passionate about service work and actively raise puppies for Canine Companions, a nonprofit that provides trained service dogs to individuals with various disabilities and needs (canine.org). In his free time, Dr. Matt enjoys cooking, hiking, photography, and making memories with his family.
